YSR housing scheme

This scheme was previously known as NTR Housing Scheme. This scheme was a promise made during the election campaign. The main objective of this scheme is to provide houses to the underprivileged and economically weaker section families.

• In the first phase of the YSR Housing Scheme, the construction of 15lakh houses. The expenditure on the construction of a single house will be 1.80 lakh per.

YSR Jagannath Colonies

• Construction of 30 lakh houses in coming 4 years.
• Construction of 15 lakh houses in Phase-I , Project cost Rs. 27,000Cr.,(2020)
• Construction of 15 lakh houses in Phase-II (2021).
• Housing will be provided to all beneficiaries who have been granted house site pattas by the State Government.
• Supply of quality housing materials from manufacturers to all beneficiaries less than market price through reverse tendering.
• Providing Infrastructure facilites viz., Roads,Water supply and Electrification in layouts.

Different Scheme Under YSR Housing Scheme

YSR Housing Scheme list is divided into three housing schemes:

• AP Urban Housing Scheme,
• YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing scheme
• YSR Gramin Housing scheme.

1. PMAY/ YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing scheme : –  In this scheme, the AP government works for economically weaker sections people of the state. State Government is going to provide pucca house to all the beneficiaries and for this purpose, Rs.1280 crore has allocated under the state Budget.
2. YSR Urban Housing Scheme under PMAY : –       PMAY – YSR urban housing scheme is the joint scheme, which is being offered by the state and central governments.  The main objective of this scheme is to help the poor, middle class and lower class people of the state.The scheme is progressive to develop urban areas before 2022. For successful implementation of the scheme central government of India has sanctioned Rs. 5000 crore and State government allocated Rs. 1000/- crore.
3. AP YSR Gramin Housing Scheme under PMAY: –  PMAY-YSR Gramin Housing scheme is an exclusive scheme to providing the housing benefits to the poor people of the rural areas, both Central and State Govt.

• To apply for the scheme applicant must be a permanent resident of the state.
• The applicant must not have their own house or land
• The applicant should own APL/ BPL ration card along with a caste certificate.
