Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
The scheme was launched by the Telangana government on 2 October 2014. The Telangana government has launched Kalyan Laxmi Pathkam Yojana to release financial assistance to SC / ST / OBC or unmarried girls of minority class at the time of marriage and to prevent child marriage.
Under this scheme, many benefits will be availed for brides who are about to get married in the state of Telangana. Under this scheme, Financial aid will be transferred to bride or her mother’s account.

Component of Kalyana Laxmi Pathakam 2021
There are two components of the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme as announced by the Chief Minister of Telangana state. The two components are given below:-- Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam: – For the Hindu brides below the poverty line.
- Shaadi Mubarak: – For the Muslim community brides with an annual Income Limit of Rs 2,00,000/-
Amount Under The Scheme
The budget allocated for the fiscal year accounts to Rs.1450 Crores and the scheme has reached around 3,60,000 beneficiaries till March, 2018.- The scheme was launched in 2014, when the government provided Rs.51,000.
- In 2017, this assistance Rs. 75,116.
- Rs.1,00,116 were provided by the government in 2018.
Kalyana lakshmi scheme eligibility

- The bride must be a minimum age of 18 years or above.
- A Bride must belong to below the poverty line category.
- The bride must belong to minority groups.
- The candidate’s educational qualification should be at least 10th pass.
- The family income of the applicant should be less than Rupees 2 Lakh per annum.
- BC/ EBC Income Limit: Rs 2,00,000 (Urban areas) / Rs 1,50,000 (Rural areas)
- For Minority Income Limit: Rs 2,00,000/-
- For Shaadi Mubarak- Rs.2,00,000/-

To apply for the TS Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme, the following documents have to submit by the applicant:- Aadhaar card of the applicant
- Birth certificate of the bride issued by the competent authority.
- Caste certificate
